Description
English: Two P3C Orion aircraft of Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (JMSDF) are on a visit to INS Hansa, Goa from 29 to 31 October 2017. Commander Masayuki Kamakura, Commanding Officer of the JMSDF detachment called on Rear Admiral Puneet K Bahl, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Naval Area and discussed issues of bilateral interest. A team of Indian Navy personnel visited the Japanese aircraft for familiarisation and interaction. Various operating procedures and professional issues were discussed and a joint exercise, including exchange of air riders, was undertaken along with a visit to aviation facilities at the air station.
