Description
English: A North American JF-100C Super Sabre (s/n 53-1709) airplane on lakebed at Edwards Air Force Base, Edwards, California (USA) in 1962. This aircraft was retired by NASA in 1972 and given to the San Jose State. In 2004 it was moved to the Castle Air Museum, Atwater, California and is on display, marked as F-100D 55-2789. [RWR fairing on tail identifies this as an F100D.]
