English: An elevated bronze plaque showing the direction of assault at the outset of the Battle of Messines in June 1917 in which the two voluntary Irish divisions, the 36th (Ulster) Division and the 16th (Irish) Division, played a decisive role. The plaque stands in the grounds of the Island of Ireland Peace Park, Messines, Belgium.
