Summary

Description
English: Footbridge across the South Tyne near Bardon Mill In this area the South Tyne is crossed by a number of byways and bridleways. Despite a ford being shown on OS maps it would be very unwise to try and drive across near here, the river being wide and deep. Fortunately cyclists and walkers can cross without a risk of drowning.
