Summary

Description
English: A map of the Decimomannu Air Base comparing the current (2021) borders and runways with the ones existing in 1943. The map also contains the SS 196 route.

The map has been created using the historical imagery available on the SardegnaFotoAeree website, as well as this aerial picture (it's possible to align the picture with the Santu Teru river, visible in the upper part) referenced in this article, and this other similar image from the American Air Museum website.

The image contains an edited version of this file:

La mappa è stata costruita utilizzando le immagini storiche reperibili sul sito di SardegnaFotoAeree, questa foto (è possibile allineare la foto con il fiume Santu Teru, visibile in alto) contestualizzata in questo articolo, e questa foto simile alla precedente tratta dal sito dell'American Air Museum.
