Bedeutung: Das Wappen erinnert an den Weinbau der Gemeinde, dessen bekannteste Lage der Bockstein ist. Der Abtstab gedenkt der Abtei St. Martin zu Trier, die jahrhundertelang Grundherr zu Ockfen gewesen ist.
