Unten ein grüner Rebstock mit 4 Trauben an schwarzem Pfahl.

Object history
Deutsch: Begründet wird das Wappen mit den vier Ortsteilen Langsur, Mesenich, Metzdorf und Grewenich. Für sie stehen die vier Zinnen am oberen Brückenteil. Ihre Lage am Fluß Sauer wird durch den Wellenbalken symbolisiert; die Brücke überspannt den Grenzfluß Sauer bei Langsur. Bis zum Ende der Feudalzeit um 1800 gehörte Langsur der St.-Eucharius-Abtei in St. Matthias bei Trier an. Symbol des Apostels Matthias ist das Beil, das hier mit dem Abtstab, als Zeichen der St. Eucharius-Abteil, gekreuzt wiedergegeben ist. Der grüne Weinstock mit vier Trauben steht als Zeichen der Wirtschaftsstruktur, während die vier Trauben wiederum die Ortsteile symbolisieren.
