Notes

The artwork was attributed to Emmanuel Tzanes as early as 1904. Expert Manolis Hatzidakis disagreed that the work was created by Emmanuel alone. It is very similar to his style and records indicate that his brother Marinos painted alongside Emmanuel on several occasions the work is attributed to him and his brother Marinos.
