Description
English: San Polo (church) - Campo San Polo acquired a playful identity: it was actually the scene of public festivals and games, like the ball game and the bull run. This situation became unbearable so that by 1611 all games and the sale of goods were eventually banned. A plaque at the entrance of Campo on the left side of the church's apse reflects this prohibition.
