English: A field on the James River floodplain (the river lies immediately beyond the trees in the distance) north of the Craig Creek confluence; this photo looks east from U.S. Route 220 just northwest of Eagle Rock in Botetourt County, Virginia, United States. This is the Bessemer Archaeological Site, an important archaeological site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
