Description

Diagram of British common lyddite shell Mk III for BL 60 pounder gun.
Length 19.05 inches, diameter 4.97 inches, weight filled & fuzed 60 lbs. Forged steel. 2 c.r. head.
1 inch G.S. fuze hole.


Bursting charge 8 lb including 4 1/4 oz picric powder exploder.
Date data correct as at 1 August 1914.
