Nederlands: Hoofdgebouw van het jeugddetentiecentrum IPPJ de Fraipont, voorheen bekend als Château de Banneux, gelegen in een bosrijke omgeving op een hoogte tussen Fraipont, Nessonvaux en Banneux, provincie Luik, België. Het kasteel werd in 1912 gebouwd voor de familie Clijnants uit Brussel. Het ontwerp was van Charles-Auguste Vivroux, die ook de Grand Bazar van Verviers ontwierp. Van 1925 tot 1969 werd het kasteel bewoond door de Maastrichtse textielfabrikant Georges Regout (1882-1948) en zijn vrouw Jeanne Lieutenant (1885-1972) uit Verviers. Sinds 1972 is op het terrein een Institution Publique de Protection de la Jeunesse (IPPJ) gevestigd. De paviljoens rondom het kasteel zijn in 2018-19 vernieuwd. |
