Description
English: Aston Martin DB2 LML/50/8 at Le Mans which was held 24 June 1950, where it had race# 19 and was driven by George Abecassis (on left) and Lance Macklin (tall man to the right) to a 5th place overall and 1st in its class, averaging 87.3 mph.[1] The car is a "Cadillac green" color. It had UK license "VMF 64" and became David Brown's personal car. Raced again at 1951 Le Mans to 4th place by Macklin and Eric Thompson.[2]
