Summary

Description
English: Mock-up of the winner of the 1st Schneider Trophy Race, held in 1913. Powered by a 160hp Gnome rotary engine, it won with a speed of 46mph.

This static mock-up was originally built for Leisure Sport and went on display at Thorpe Park, UK. When the aircraft collection was dispersed, several of the Schneider machines moved to Chino. Seen on display in the ‘Jet & Air Racers’ hangar at the Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, California, USA.
