Request reason:

I was told today that my IP address has been blocked when I tried to edit an article, I do not know why and did not have any message here on my account, the pop-up just said "long term abuse". I had a look at constributions/my IP and it was a similar IP to mine that was blocked, rather than the exact same (only the first half was the same), so I am assuming I am "collateral damage".
