Malval (French pronunciation: [malval]; Limousin: Malaval) is a former commune in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in central France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Linard-Malval.[2]

Geography[edit]

A very small farming village, situated by the banks of the Petite Creuse river, some 12 miles (19 km) north of Guéret at the junction of the D56 and the D6 roads.
