Welcome![edit]

Hello, Editorial Cut, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Larry Bird, have removed content without an explanation. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia:

I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! —Bagumba (talk) 16:45, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

July 2015[edit]

Information icon Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Alaska Aces (PBA) has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. Also, adding your personal opinion on articles and edit summaries violates WP:NPOV. Watch out. -WayKurat (talk) 09:00, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 PBA Governors' Cup, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alaska Aces. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:59, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Nicomaine Mendoza.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:11, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you for 48 hours because not only did you upload two copyright violations, but you also tried to remove a block notice from another user's page with this edit, which you likely did because you were trying to give off the impression with this edit that User:BethNaught was blocked for a username violation. This looks like it was something that you did in retribution for her correctly tagging your files as copyright violations. If you do anything like this again in the future, you run the risk of receiving a longer block, possibly a permanent one. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:15, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:NBADraft16logo.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:NBADraft16logo.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

Non-free rationale for File:WKYC logo2.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:WKYC logo2.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.  ★  Bigr Tex 01:55, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Narciso S. Nario Sr. moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Narciso S. Nario Sr., does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~~ OxonAlex - talk 08:54, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Narciso S. Nario Sr., a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:42, 30 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Narciso S. Nario Sr.[edit]

Hello, Editorial Cut. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Narciso S. Nario Sr.".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:44, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dos Por Dos (radio program) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Dos Por Dos (radio program), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hello, Pinoy Wikipedian Pride. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Dos Por Dos".

UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:31, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:ABS-CBN PublishingInc. logo 2014.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:ABS-CBN PublishingInc. logo 2014.png.

Good day Sir. This is to inform you that you should cite a concrete article that states that they are airing on ultra-high definition television. The source you've presented was done on February 2019 and upon this writing, there has been no information if GMA shows are now on UHD format. For the proof of what I've said, please refer to this videos:

https://youtu(.)be/KmDXDuruA8U (24 Oras at 720p)

https://youtu(.)be/rSeuJpMXwXw (First Yaya at 720p)

If you cite another article that proves it, I will stop. However, as it seems, your addition of 4K UHD on various GMA articles is vandalism rather than information. Don't threaten another user again. Thank you.

For clarifications, my talk page is open. Pinoy Wikipedian Pride (talk) 15:24, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you know YouTube compresses video quality especially video filmed in 4K. GMA Network is also a broadcast network first and foremost and they don't directly broadcast their shows on YouTube. Those YouTube links are moot, its not reflective of the network's picture format. You don't have a reference that GMA Network doesn't broadcast in 4K TV. Quit your disruptive editing. I gave you a LEGIT reference and one LEGIT reference should be enough. You are not in a position to order editors to post multiple references. You asked for a reference. Then when I posted a reference, you are now telling me to post another? That behavior isn't allowed here. TheHotwiki (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You are also not being threatened. I posted warning templates in which editors in this site can post through talk pages, if they feel like an action should be made. You are edit warring and using your own assumption with your edits. I have an actual reference to back up that GMA Network is broadcasting in 4K. That reference is directly from GMA Network itself. Unless you are implying GMA network was lying when they announced broadcasting in 4K. You don't have a reference for that. TheHotwiki (talk) 16:21, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any source that they are BROADCASTING IN 4K? You are the ones who are making disruptive editing and the source you've given IS NOT ENOUGH for the confirmation of your conclusion.

"GMA is also slated to complete the upgrade of its Electronic Field Production capabilities to further improve its High Definition (HD) image capture to Full 2K/4K HD, elevating GMA Network’s output to true global standards. In anticipation, the requisite enhancements to the Network’s Media Asset Management and Broadcast Automation Systems have already been completed."

"Post Production is likewise implementing full equipment and software upgrades coupled with increased storage and color grading capabilities to optimally process high-end 2K and 4K HD formats."

As far as i know, SLATED and AIRING is different in the dictionary. You are implying that they are airing on 4K when in reality, you just only concluded. Read the article again if they mentioned that they are currently airing on 4K right now. Because the reference you said is SLATED and is not airing. Pinoy Wikipedian Pride (talk) 23:38, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

For clarifications, I did not say that GMA is lying, I directly quote that they are slated to complete its post-production and electronic field production capabilities to 4K and it did not implicate a date when they are broadcasting on 4K. Your behavior, too, isn't allowed here. Pinoy Wikipedian Pride (talk) 23:42, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your citation on GMA is legit. However, did they state that they are now filming on 4K? I am not in position to ask for additional sources, however, I did just ask if there is an article that says that it is complete now and filming in 4K. Pinoy Wikipedian Pride (talk) 23:43, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Good day. I would just want to say that this is my last time to talk with you about this as I will revert the article's last revision to you. It may be contradictory to my earlier statements. But in the name of civility, I would stop editing it for now. If there is an article that could prove that they are now airing on 4K, I guess it is better. Again, apologies.Pinoy Wikipedian Pride (talk) 00:00, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:PIE TV (Philippine TV channel) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Lack of context

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. License tagging for File:SMCityCabanatuanLogo2022.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SMCityCabanatuanLogo2022.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. DWPM moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, DWPM, is not suitable as written to remain published. Liz Read! Talk! 07:07, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of DWPM for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article DWPM is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/DWPM until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Thanks for your contributions to List of programs broadcast by DWPM. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ––FormalDude (talk) 08:29, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
