Hola Hila Sapa Shila

Hey, I've removed your speedy here. Nonsense tags are for patent nonsense, not things in a foreign language. Ironholds (talk) 22:53, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Ah, fine - assumed it was nonsense rather than a foreign language :-) Blue Square Thing (talk) 22:54, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
Again, I've removed the tag; the foreign tag is for stuff that exists elsewhere; I can't seem to find it on any related wiki-project. Try seeing if you can find someone to translate it; it appears to be slovakian/croatian.Ironholds (talk) 22:57, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I'll take this to the article talk page. Thanks for pointing it out :-) -- Blue Square Thing (talk) 23:02, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
I think we got it sorted out now... - Adolphus79 (talk) 23:25, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

Will Carling

Keep doing what you are doing. Don't panic about reverting information you believe to be a bit dodgy. 19 out of 20 times, your gut will be correct, and you will revert vandalism. If you're wrong, the person will probably contact you and challenge your decision. As soon as I saw 'revered by the Welsh...' I knew it was a hoax, so trust yourself and go for it. 99% of true Wikipedians will understand accidental reverts. FruitMonkey (talk) 22:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks - just a bit concerned it could get nasty as he seems to have followed me to pages I've created ;-( -- Blue Square Thing (talk) 22:44, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

thanks

thank you blue square thing for the tip. Im new here so i may mess up. As for the article i edited, i feel that the title is misleading since it actually refers to a game. Is there a way i can bring this to the editor's attention? If so, How?Mmmmwii (talk) 22:53, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Gratin

It seems that you're serious and know what you're doing and so I wish you well. You won't get any argument from me since I'm blocked indefinitely, but watch out for Th----X: he persists despite talking gibberish and making racially-motivated accusations. 86.158.247.205 (talk) 14:18, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Mike Slocombe

This page is about me, contains personal information which is defamatory and not relevant, and is being used as part of a long-running harassment campaign. I think it should be removed. You can confirm my ID by emailing me at mike -at- urban75.com -Mayhill (talk) 19:08, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Haygate estate

Just a friendly note on Haygate estate. I declined the speedy because this is a place, not a club. (The mention of gangs probably threw you off). AfD would be the way to go for this, as named places are often controversial deletions. HTH!--Fabrictramp | talk to me 23:02, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

AfD

Hi. You weighed in on the AfD for St Nicholas' Priory. I've added some preliminary detail on the monestary, its background and its current use. I'm hoping you'll reconsider your !vote. — Bdb484 (talk) 19:54, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for that - it's grade 1 status does it for me: if you can find more on that it'd help keep it I think. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:12, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

An AfD for this article, which you participated in, was recently closed as "no consensus." I have request a deletion review here [1].Bali ultimate (talk) 16:27, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Who are you at UHS

I'm a student at Upton. Who are you? --Meph (talk) 19:35, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Tardis,
I noticed you commented on the Frank Duckworth AfD. I withdrew the appended Tony Lewis deletion. It now has its own deletion discussion page. See User_talk:Shirt58#Frank_Duckworth_and_Tony_Lewis for why this had been added to your talk page.

ps: a boilerplate? Guilty as charged, Your Honour.

Southwold's Parliamentary Constituency

You are entirely correct in reverting the article to show that the Constituency is Suffolk Coastal (Rt. Hon. John Gummer MP). It is NOT in the Waveney Constituency (Bob Blizzard MP). This confusion often arises because Southwold lies in Waveney District Council, and Suffolk Coast District Council ends at the south bank of the River Blyth. The Parliamentary boundaries were changed to incorporate Southwold in the Suffolk Coastal constituency in, I think, the 1990's. I can say all this with perfect confidence as I live in the area! Pakefield

Re: Your message on my talk, yeah I'll do my best to keep an eye on it. A few months ago I was editing Wiki quite regularly but my circumstances have changed and that, coupled with the persistence of some Wikiers to get their way on an article leaving the rest of us banging our head against a brick wall, prompted to to all but give up. But I'll make changes as and when I can. Thanks for your hard work. a_boardley (talk) 23:39, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

Certain user

I think this user Blue Square Thing should be banned and blocked from Wikipedia as they are all over the place with articles and will not stop talking about how we should do things on here also will not let the other editors have a chance to edit. vandaconalism (talk), 23 November 2009 (UTC)

I think you need to take a good hard look at Wikipedia and how it works. If you have a problem with my editing then you need to find some Good Articles in the WP:UKGEO and decided whether or not that's the sort of thing you're aiming towards. I'll add this to your talk page as well. Blue Square Thing (talk) 16:01, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

CEFAS removed from Pakefield

Why has this been removed and NOT DISCUSSED off Pakefield? It should be re added to the Pakefield page and discussed properly, do not re draw boundaries. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lifeontheedge (talkcontribs) 18:41, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Becauis very clearly not in the area which was originally covered by Pakefield parish. This was discussed clearly on the talk page (see my comment on 2009-11-19 in the Article Status section) and (talk) 19:04, 23 November 2009 (UTC)

Pakefield Population

Thank you for adding the population i agree that un sourced figures are not accurate, the population does seem more accurate so thanks for adding, because the original figure that i researched did seem quite small. Lifeontheedge

Notable People Removed

Would it be possible to return the notable people section and list people such as Michael Foreman on there? I have started the discussion on the pakefield page but i cannot image there will be objection. Lifeontheedge —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.152.209.53 (talk) 12:50, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Thomas Mills

Hi, thanks for your e-mail. I thought people might know about the school's construction. The 'Current Forms' bit, I thought might be interesting for people so that people know about the teachers. If you prefer to delete that bit, I don't mind. I don't know about the school's history, as I am only a Year 7 pupil, but all info on that page is correct. '''Adam mugliston''' (talk) 19:17, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

I've no doubt it is - the problem is that we need to be able to show it using verifiable sources. Current forms is totally non-notable - you won't get this bit in an article *ever* - trust me on this. History and construction - if you can find sources - are worth a look, but check the notability guidelines - the fact some of the rooms are named after Floyd isn't really notable for example. But they need to be sourced as otherwise it becomes a fluff piece for the school if we're not careful. I'll try and do some work on it over the weekend and see what I can find - have a look for some sources and let's see if we can build the article up into something interesting. An infobox would be a better starting point probably Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:37, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Question on List of Peninsulas

Hi. I am trying to bring the attention of editors to a question on List of Peninsulas talk page. This relates to the "isthmus" issue that seems to have remained unanswered in previous inquiries on the same talk page. By solving the example I set forward maybe we could also reach a consensus on what is the peninsula standard that should be used. If more than one standard exist (for example, traditional or popular use and academic use) we could explain them all(?). Please let me know if you would like to contribute to this question. Thank you!Ilidio Martins (talk) 13:46, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

Lowestoft Education

Why is it you are so interested in stopping the changes i made to articals relateing to Lowestoft Education?.

You seem to think that it was not relavent or something!.

You say about whats happening now at present is it will not be very long and the school reorganisation by suffolk county council will meen no more Sixth Form at high schools and Lowestoft College will beacome Sixth Form College and middle schools will close.

Pakefield High School will soon be opening in 2011 as a fourth high school for Lowestoft. Also Lowestoft Sixth Form College will soon be opening in 2011 on site of old Lowestoft College.

I think that this is current and relavent i added more to these articals but you got rid of it as if it dosent exsist!. But it does exsist!.

from, darkcover21

But they aren't open yet. That's crucial - if you look at the SCC profile, for example, for Pakefield High School (it's cited on the article page I think) it's *very* clear that it's not open yet. This is an encyclopedia. It needs to be *accurate*. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:56, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Always Questioning Artical Improvements

Every time i try and improve articals you are always there questioning these improvements. Which means everything i do to improve articals is reverted by you!!!. Why is it that you keep tracking everything i do on here!!!!!. You do know that idea of wikipedia is to improve articals to best they can possibley get to!!!. You are not a personal admin sent to watch everything i do!!!!. You are at the same statis as me just a ordanary user like anybody else is!!!. You have no right stopping what i do on here!!!. As you have no such authority over me!!!. Why dont more people comment on my improvents!!!. As there may be other people that think these improvents were fine!!!. User:Darkcover21

My concerns are based on your lack of understanding of protocols such as WP:STYLE and WP:UKCITIES. This means that the articles you're editing are sometimes (not always) being made less effective as encyclopedia entries. The only reason more people aren't reverting your edits is because it seems relatively few editors persist with any attempt to improve articles about the Lowestoft area - mainly due to the vandalism and general lack of positive edits over the last 2 years or so.
I would be *very* careful about attacking other users, especially through processing such as WP:LTA. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:14, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

There is no vanderlism it is just contributeing to the articals and as for you keep trying to stop everything i do should stop and think! that all im doing is no different to you or any other user! You create lots of new articals and contribute to exsisting ones! How would you like it if every time you created a new artical it keeps getting tagged for deleation! I should put some on your articals and see how you like it! As for editing how would you like it if everytime you edit some one keeps reverting it back! I should re-vert your edits! Id be very careful who you attact on here! you are always targeting me about things i do on here! Why dont you do it to someone else! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkcover21 (talkcontribs) 22:05, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I've responded to this on your talk page. Please try to use colons to insert your text to keep the flow on a talk page clear. And please read SineBot's message on your talk page. Blue Square Thing (talk) 22:10, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I notice it sais you are a teacher! which would explain why you think you know it all about Wikipedia! However; it is most likeley that you dont know it all! not many people do! What school do you teach at? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkcover21 (talkcontribs) 22:47, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

I have the advantage that I've been editing for getting on for three years. Over that time I've picked up all sorts of useful stuff. Blue Square Thing (talk) 22:53, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Ok so you might have been doing things on here for 3 years! But does not meen that you know everything that you claim you know! As it would take allot more years to know this! So my question being! Where do you teach? What school is it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darkcover21 (talkcontribs) 23:09, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

My point is that with three years experience I know a bit more about some of the ways that this place works than you do with less than a months worth of experience. The school I teach in is irrelevant. It's not, and never has been, in Lowestoft. Blue Square Thing (talk) 07:17, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

User Name

Your user name is Blue Square Thing. Are you anything to do with a discussion realating to Blue Square Premier in football?. I do not think you are teacher ither!!. Just a imposter poseing as one!!. However; you may be a student!!. Your the thing!!! you nast peace of work!!!(Darkcover21 (talk) 21:53, 20 April 2011 (UTC))

why dont you get lost and let me edit wiki with out you interfering!!! which seems to be all your aim is on here!!! shirley you can find something else to do uther than being Yob, Hoodey and Hooligan to me on wiki!! why dont you go do this somewhere else!!! (Darkcover21 (talk) 21:53, 20 April 2011 (UTC))

I do not think these comments are appropriate and may be seen as personal attacks. Allow the only thing mentioned that i think a administrator should investigate is this user claims there a teacher which may not be case at all. I do not think they are a teacher just a student trying to pose as teacher. The person just seems to be a student. Blue Square Thing has not commented on this talk page about attacks on them. But it would be interesting to see what they have to say for themselfs as regard to trying to pose as teacher. (Sidessneck (talk) 00:13, 22 April 2011 (UTC))
