The competition, which was established in 2016 by Southampton F.C., is scheduled to run for eight days, from 5 to 13 August 2017, open to both professional academy teams (Academy Section) and non-elite teams (Premier Section). Some of the fixtures will be contested at the club's training ground Staplewood Campus.
