Elacatinus dilepis, or the orangesided goby, is a species of fish from the genus Elacatinus. It may be found in the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Lesser Antilles, Belize, and Honduras. The orangesided goby lives in coastal reefs, outer reefs, isolated patch reefs, reef faces, and slopes at depths between 8 and 30 meters. The fish grows to a length of 2.5 cm. The species used to belong to the genus Gobiosoma. It may live alone, in pairs, or in small groups.[1]
