Proposed changes[edit]

The template includes style="font-size:135%". This is causing the text to appear overly large and bold, especilly when set beside other languages also using Arab script such as Kazakh. We should remove the styling form the template and allow the editor to style where he sees a requirement.

Also the various transliterations should have language tags such as ug-latn and ug-arab so that the script used as well as the language used is clear. This aids browsers in loading the correct fonts as well as providing crucial accessibility keys for disabled readers. Rincewind42 (talk) 14:46, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

link=no[edit]

I've added support for |link=no to turn off wikilinking (which still retaining labeling), for usage after the first time. If |link= is not specified, or if it is specified as |link=yes, it will produce the same results as before. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 19:00, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Uighur"[edit]

Wouldn't it be better to change it to Uyghur to fix the redirect? Rolando 1208 (talk) 00:08, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 31 March 2023[edit]

I agree with the user above. Can anyone please change Uighur language to Uyghur language? 90.233.203.83 (talk) 22:05, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 00:26, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of some reason my IP adress has changed a little bit now but I am the same person as 90.233.203.83. The template links to Uighur language. Can anyone please change the link to Uyghur language? It is the article name. Is it clear enough? 90.233.195.2 (talk) 10:51, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done: The template already displayed and linked as "Uyghur" as per this sandbox confirmation hence it's not clear what changes you want made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format with more precise explanation provided. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 15:09, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
