Possible bound-state β- decay of 193Ir[edit]

Should it be noted, according to this article [1], that 193Ir is predicted to undergo bound-state β- decay (which has not been observed)? 129.104.241.214 (talk) 00:22, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Alpha half-life of 191Ir[edit]

According to [2], 191Ir should have an alpha decay half-life at the order of 1028 years, so there is basically no chance to observe its decay. Among three odd Z elements Eu, Ir and Tl with two beta-stable isotopes in the sixth period, only the lighter isotope of Eu has short enongh alpha decay half-life to show the decay. 129.104.65.7 (talk) 15:23, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
