Revamp[edit]

This template needs to be redone. For example, if this template is only used for NFL articles, why is there a need to have a parameter for League? Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:55, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I revamped the template using {{infobox}} as a base. Zzyzx11 (talk) 08:31, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary 'parameter' change[edit]

Howdy. Is there a way to 'temporarily' change the parameter in the infoboxes of NFC Championship Game, AFC Championship Game & (after it's played) Super Bowl, so it doesn't always say "Recent and upcoming games"? Otherwise, it'll look kinda strange, calling the last game both 'recent and upcoming'. GoodDay (talk) 05:10, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GoodDay:. I'm not sure with the current coding, which was based on Template:Infobox holiday to automatically display the data using the time parserfunctions. As a temporary measure, I could remove that "Recent and upcoming games" header altogether like on {{Infobox college football bowl game}} (see Rose Bowl Game, Sugar Bowl, etc. for examples). A full conversion to the |prev_matchup_= and |next_matchup_= parameters like on that other infobox template would be another matter. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:59, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just figured a temporary change until the end of the 2024 NFL season, would be best. GoodDay (talk) 06:25, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
