Do we really need this template?[edit]

I am unsure as to whether this is a desirable or informative template to have in articles. Current members have transcluded the fresh template, which is reasonable, but they certainly do not need to have both the old and new templates, as this would simply clutter them up. Take for example the case of Fred Li: this diff shows how the two templates just completely overwhelm the article; even in a sizeable article like Albert Ho, I think that the co-existence of two templates looks pretty dominated. For the moment, I have removed this template from the articles of all current Legco members. Ohconfucius (talk) 03:18, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure how many people are watching this template. Maybe bring it up at the Hong Kong WikiProject or discuss with the template creator (since the template is very new and he probably would not take kindly to its deletion). But for the most part, I agree with you. Probably a category for former LegCo members would suffice. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 13:40, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
