2015 data available[edit]

2021 estimates available (based on 2021 Census)[edit]

It appears that Wikipedia is making it as hard as possible for even veteran editors to update articles based on the 2021 census by doing some silly and complex Alice down the rabbit hole way of things. Since the release is by local authority (UA, County Council) and not yet parish or town, surely an estimate that is correct to the nearest 100 is far more useful than the "wet finger in the air" estimates of previous years that currently adorn our articles? --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 16:00, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My concerns are not when we amend things but by how hard it is. I've been editing Wikipedia for 16 years and created over 200 articles yet I have no idea how this weird template thing works. I can understand linking individual districts and boroughs to a main page but it appears that the vast majority of people can't even see the raw data behind a list of district and borough table.
