Usage[edit]
This template displays the current date and time, in a format similar to that used in the block log.

It's in the name[edit]
The name of the template is datetime, yet the output it produces is time, then date. Would'nt have timedate been more logical? --Turbinator 21:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Replace contents[edit]
To improve efficiency and so it uses less template, I replaced the current contents with 07:52, 24 May 2024 (UTC). There is no difference in the functionality of the template.
