Template talk:Cite patent/authors

This template was considered for deletion on 2019 April 18. The result of the discussion was "Move patent citations out of {{Citation}} and into {{Cite patent}}, deprecate the dedicated code in {{Citation}} for patents".

The authorlink parameters should be compared against {{FULLPAGENAME}} to avoid creating a self-linked (bold-face) element. This would affect cases where an author is cited in an article about his or her own self. ―cobaltcigs 09:27, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
