Possible template changes[edit]

Do people think we should in anyway differentiate an automatic bid vs. invitation to the NCAA Tourney in the legend? What about national seeds? This then brings up how would you mark a national seed knocked out of the tourney? Would everyone be a fan of parsing the page title the template is used on to get the NCAA tourney year so the link does not have to be added manually? If you look now most do not correctly point to this years tourney page. --ben_b (talk) 08:48, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you've added the symbols that should be included in the standings. I do like the idea of parsing the page title to go directly to the correct NCAA tourney year. When the tourney pages didn't all exist, it made sense to ensure we had a working link, but now I think we should have the link to that year's tournament automatically. What poll?[edit]

This template seems to be used for baseball, football, basketball, softball, and perhaps more. The Coaches' Poll linked is not appropriate to most of these. Who can work on a fix? Dicklyon (talk) 08:22, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
