Advantages/Drawbacks[edit]

This template has advantages which improve usability, and the option of using NRSV text, but one drawback is that the host site uses display advertising. This should be mentioned and discussed before widespread adoption. --Blainster 19:38, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I'm not affiliated with the site at all, I just found it and it had two of the features I wanted to use (NRSV and plain-text translation specifiers w/o using an external resolver), so I'm not committed to it or anything. I'd been waiting to get some comments before I started replacing other templates with it, to see if anyone saw any drawbacks to using it. Looks like that was a good idea. ;) » MonkeeSage « 22:29, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I though you might like to know that the NRSV is available online, without ads, at bible.oremus.org. You can get a specific passage like this: Act 10:44-48. -Rholton 23:12, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
