Template-protected edit request on 13 September 2023[edit]

Make the sandbox version the current version. This will improve accessibility because Template:sronly will cause a screen reader to say the tooltip text aloud. The change can only be made here and not to template:abbr because sronly will not work predictably within a wikilink. I've made a demo page here to test with a screen reader: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Abbrlink/errors?useskin=monobook NVDA, Narrator, and Apple VoiceOver all worked well; I cannot test Jaws. @Paine Ellsworth and Rjjiii: I think this edit causes other templates to display incorrectly. I noticed it at {{Prostanoid signaling modulators}} where text such as "DP (D2)Tooltip Prostaglandin D2 receptor" displays where I think it should be just "DP (D2)". eraser Undone – needs further tests? (Note: the tooltip is still "Prostaglandin D2 receptor" for "DP (D2)") P.I. Ellsworth , ed. put'er there 21:37, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
