Successful good article nomination[edit]

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of December 21, 2010, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Intro is too long, tagged as such at top of page upon GA Review visitation (quick fail). Article is sprawling, unorganized, poor structure, lots of lists, blockquotes, improper flow, hard to follow.

2. Factually accurate?: There are unsourced sects and areas tagged with citation needed (quick fail).

3. Broad in coverage?: It does indeed cover many aspects, but questionable POV.

4. Neutral point of view?: Tagged with POV issues at top of talk page (quick fail).

5. Article stability? Not stable. Edit history dispute issues. (quick fail).

6. Images?: 14 images, will need good image review prior to next GA review.
