Seas[edit]
The title of this article is "List of Seas". This article lists as well Gulfs (Gulf of Mexico, Gulf St. Vincent), Straits (Oresund Strait, Davis Strait), Bays (Bay of Bengal, Hudson Bay) and others (Mozambique Channel, Great Australian Bight). - @Leobold111: Yeah, good point. I was worried about that myself today, so I did a bit of research. Turns out the official International Hydrographic Organization list of seas includes large bodies of water named "Gulf", "Bay", "Straight", "Bight", etc. I have not been able to find clear definitions which distinguish all these things, so it makes sense to me to have a single list of anything that's functionally a large named portion of the world ocean, distinguished by land, current, or latitude/longitude. I'm open to renaming this article to "List of ocean divisions" or something, but for now at least I'll put a clear definition in the intro. -- Beland (talk) 18:43, 6 August 2016 (UTC)

Labrador Sea and Hudson Bay[edit]
I added the Labrador Sea and expanded on Hudson Bay. I also added minorities of the seas, though as of now I can't find any for Labrador Sea. If somebody disagrees, maybe the Labrador Sea can be put as a minority under something else, but for now I'm putting it as it's own sea. I also removed the Labrador Sea and Hudson Bay from the list of seas in the Pacific Ocean. Hudson Bay is considered part of the Arctic Ocean, and Labrador Sea is considered part of the Atlantic Ocean, besides being on the opposite side of a continent from the Pacific. -SquirrelB8
Long Beach Bay[edit]
A Long Beach Bay is listed under Long Island Sound, but links to Long Beach in Californa. I have no clue what bay is actually meant here, maybe someone with the appropriate geographical knowledge can fix the link. Jadephx (talk) 19:12, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
