Nice job! Things to do:

  • May we have a mycomorphbox?
    • Added. I didn't add one because I thought it would be crowded, but it looks ok :) J Milburn (talk) 11:29, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • In Tax. and naming, paragraph "Inocybe cookei was first described by Giacomo Bresadola in 1892. Mycologists J. Stangl and J. Veselský described Inocybe kuthanii in 1979, which was later described as a variety of Inocybe cookei (Inocybe cookei var. kuthanii) by Thom Kuyper in 1986. Both names are now recognised as synonyms of Inocybe cookei. It is commonly known as the straw fibrecap."
  • When/why did I. cookei var. kuthanii officialy revert from variety to synonymous status?
    • I'm not sure. I have updated the section to attribute the opinion to the website MycoBank, on which we have an article. J Milburn (talk) 11:29, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Also in the section, define the specific epithet cookei. :) Rcej (Robert) - talk 07:15, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • "cookei" refers to Mordecai Cubitt Cooke, in the same way someone would name an Inocybe Inocybe milburni if I was a famous mycologist. I haven't been able to find a source for that, though, so I don't feel comfortable including it. J Milburn (talk) 11:29, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

btw J. Milburn, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

And the same to you :) Thanks for your review! J Milburn (talk) 11:29, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
When I saw Rcej had taken both fungus reviews with identical epithets, I couldn't help thinking he was like Santa, snacking on the offered milk and "cookei"s! Sasata (talk) 14:57, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I thought it was a lovely coincidence we had both nominated at the same time! J Milburn (talk) 17:22, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
heh...when I saw both noms from my watchlist, I was tempted to think "Cool! They've transferred it to a new genus today!!!" ;) Rcej (Robert) - talk 05:20, 25 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
