Notability[edit]

Posting of my "defense" of this article against the rapacious actions of an admin that appears to be having a very bad day (he has apparently gone on the warpath against new article creations, if one is to look at the comments (that he hasn't deleted from his Talk Page) of other Wikipedians whose article creation efforts have been assaulted by this out-of-control admin User:Ttonyb1. In checking the efforts of the other Wikipedians, their article efforts appear to be entirely viable, with maybe the exception of a beautifully created and diligent Wikipedia rockband article (for what appears to a high school garage band - OK not viable, but it has extremely well-done content.)

  • It should be noted here that I posted a Hangon template after he (I am assuming Tony is a he) hung a speed deletion notice on this article and in less than 2 hours it was deleted. I fully expect that I am going to make a persistent complaint to not only have this admin removed from administrative responsibility but have them permanently removed from Wikipedia as well. He clearly does not belong in a working environment with other people. In about 1/2 hours time User:Ttonyb1 posted speedy deletion notices (and apparently took further action) on several different people's articles while they were still working on them. It should be noted here that overzealous admins probably cost more "man/woman" hours of work than they ultimately save. I worked in the private sector for Wall Street and it was the same problem there for mid-level managers, that had no management or intellectual skills. Projects would be done and then redone, and sometimes redone again for a fourth or fifth time, to do what should have happened the first or second time. It is called shotgun intellect. However, with Wikipedia, anyone can be an admin - period. And with that comes a lot of incompetence because competency screening is not part of the process or a consideration for their qualification or methodology.

First of all, I assume that it is acceptable and viable to post content of political entities on Wikipedia. This article is notable for one, because the two co-founders of the firm, are two of the most powerful political figures of the last 30 years. One of the founders of the firm was a key member of John McCain's campaign (I am assuming that I do not have to explain who John McCain is User:Ttonyb1) and one of its employees was the finance manager of McCain's campaign through the auspices of that founding partner. I assume that [[User:Ttonyb1] does not have a problem with political articles or articles on lobbying firms, otherwise if his intent is to delete any or all pertinent articles of that nature, without my enlisting support from another admin, I should not pursue writing any articles on this topic...

Needs Cleanup[edit]

This should probably be marked as a stub as William H. Gray III died in 2013 but is still listed as currently active with the group. Is the group even around? Should this be renominated for deletion? I'm new at this. –MJLTalk 03:01, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
