I believe the date for this record is a little too early. It wasn't until after WWI that the words "Victor" weren't written on the phonograph in the trade mark image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.78.96.87 (talk • contribs)
Early 1917 was when the side was recorded, but the record stayed in print for some years. You may be right in that this may be a pressing from a couple years later than the original issue. Thanks for the interesting point. Is there a listing of Victor label variations and dates on line or if not in publication you can point out?
