Contesting Deletion[edit]

I oppose this image to be deleted for the following reasons:

  • The image is only used on the novel page it is describing.
  • According to the fair use guidelines, the image is allowed to be used without the author's permission, if it is used within the copyright laws. It clearly states that uses for review or research is allowed. The image could be classified in either of these subjects.
  • In the case Kelly v. Arriba Soft Corporation, the image may be used, if it is not of same resolution like the original. The case was won by defendant who argued the use of low resolution images is allowed if it does not effect the marketing of the object in question.
