Louisiana?[edit]

Why is (western) Louisiana colored as part of the Allies? It was bought by the U.S.A. in 1803, and whould therefore be the same color (gray) as the rest of that country in a map showing conditions as of 1815. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 22:15, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Americas[edit]

In addition to the above-noted problem with Louisiana, the map is showing Haiti as part of the French Empire, even though it gained independence in 1804. Paraguay likewise declared independence from Spain in 1811, and Spanish control of Argentina was questionable at this time.
