Summary

Description	Deutsch: Zeichen 401: Nummernschild für Bundesstraßen; Quelle: Bundesgesetzblatt, Jahrgang 1970, Nr. 108, S. 1600. Tag der Ausgabe: Bonn, 5. Dezember 1970. Nach dem Verkehrsblatt 22, 1970, mußten diese insgesamt 250 mm hoch und 400 mm breit sein. Im Verkehrsblatt, Heft 24, 1976, Seite 786, wird das Zeichen genau beschrieben. Das Zeichen war bei ein und zweistelligen Nummern 380 mm breit. Bei dreistelligen Nummern wurde eine Breite von 372 mm gewählt. Die Höhe war immer 250 mm. Die Lichtkantenbreite betrug 10 mm, der schwarze Rahmen war 15 mm breit. Der Ausrundungshalbmesser betrug 40 mm. Die Höhe der Ziffern betrug 140 mm.
