Stopy po vojenských operáciách z prvej svetovej vojny sa nachádzajú ešte dnes, nad Seredním, v lesnom poraste z ktorých bola kontrolovaná prístupová cesta údolím Bodružalíka. Systém takýchto zákopov (s násypom z vykopanej hliny) bol použitý na krytie vojenských jednotiek rakúsko-uhorskej armády pred paľbou postupujúcich vojakov Ruskej armády. Zákopy sú vo vzdialenosti 250 - 400 m komunikácie, asi 1 km od obce, smerom na Miroľu. Na výstavbu zákopov boli zneužití miestní občania uhorskou štátnou mocou. Ešte dnes skoro po 95 rokoch od začatia prvej svetovej vojny sa nachádzajú hlboké brázdy v chotári obce Bodružal z vykopaných vojenských zákopov
