English: This graph shows calculated (predicted) wave heights (H1/3) in metres for a variety of wind speeds and fetch lengths, computed using formulas proposed in 1965 by Basil Wrigley Wilson, a consulting oceanographic engineer and noted researcher in the fields of coastal and oceanographic engineering.
