Summary

Description
English: A stick of soldiers from 39 Regiment Royal Artillery, rush to get onto the battlefield Wessex helicopter before the enemy put down fire on the landing site. The down wash is so strong it nearly knocks them over with the force of the rotor blades.

Exercise Lion Sun is a five week exercise, held in Cyprus for non infantry Regiments to train at low level infantry skills. This climaxes with a four day in the field exercise starting with a Dawn attack on Melanda beach. They advance to contact the enemy and eventually have another dawn attack on Paramali FIBUA village. 107 soldiers from 39 Regiment Royal Artillery,The Northumberland Gunners.
