Here is a photo of what I believe is the Washington State Ferry, M/V Rhododendron. The photo dates from the middle 1950s. Washington State acquired this ferry in 1953 from Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay. This ferry is still in service in Purget Sound, Washington. |
