English: An Officer's cap badge from the 2nd issue (with motto) and the 1st of two variations of insignia for for the peaked service dress hat of the Canadian Air Force (CAF) circa 1920. The crown was only affixed to the front of badge at the top of the maple leaf, weakening the overall design and the badge is frequently found broken or repaired. The height is 67mm. Ex R.H. Drummond collection.
