Summary
| Description |
English: Pure titanium tetrachloride at its triple point, inside of an airtight glass flask. All three phases are present: solid crystals are melting and have sunk in the liquid, while the rest of the flask is filled with gaseous TiCl4 (invisible).
Some moisture from the ambient air has condensed on the outside of the flask, near the bottom.
Français : Tetrachlorure de titane à son point triple, à l'intérieur d'un flacon en verre hermétique. Lest rois phases sont présentes : des cristaux solides fondent et ont coulés dans le liquide, tandis que le reste du flacon est rempli de TiCl4 gazeux (invisible).
Un peu d'humidité de l'air ambiant s'est condensée sur l'extérieur du flacon, vers le bas. |
