Summary

Description
English: The Nile patrol boat Arthur was built by the Thornycroft yard at Chiswick and sent to Egypt on the deck of S.S. Poonah. Here it is shown at Alexandria, being launched sideways. The illustration was featured in the April 23, 1886 issue of Engineering, on page 402.
