Deutsch: Nordwestansicht des Wärmekraftwerkes in Theiß, ein Ortsteil der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Gedersdorf, und links der 50.000 m³-Fernwärmespeicher. Das Kraftwerk mit Schwarzstarteignung und einer Nennleistung von rund 800 Megawatt sowie einem 135m hohen Schornstein ist das größte, das der Energieversorger Niederösterreich (EVN AG) betreibt. Der Fernwärmespeicher links im Bild ist 30 Meter hoch, hat einen Durchmesser von 50 Metern und war ursprünglich ein Öltank. Bei der Inbetriebnahme am 11. Jänner 2008 war er der größte Fernwärmespeicher Europas. |
