English: The embarkation of his most Gracious Majesty George the Fourth at Greenwich, August 10th, 1822 for Scotland. Lord Mayor's Barge &cc Royal George, Royal Sovereign. The James Watts Steam Boat View of Greenwich Reach from the east, showing the embarkation of George IV in the 'Royal George' yacht for Edinburgh, 10 August 1822, with the principal vessels identified below the image: the Lord Mayor's Barge, the 'Royal George' flying the royal standard, the 'Royal Sovereign' (royal yacht) and the accompanying 'James Watt, steam boat'. It was the first visit by a reigning monarch to Scotland since the time of Charles I.
