Bahasa Indonesia: Tari Barong Brutuk merupakan tarian klasik khas wilayah Desa Trunyan kecamatan Kintamani Bangli Bali. Tarian ini ditarikan oleh remaja putra dengan mengenakan pakean yang terbuat dari kraras atau daun pisang yang sudah kering. sebelum menarikan tarian sakral ini para remaja melaksanakan prosesi penyucian diri berupa mandi di danau serta beberapa prosesi sakral lainnya. selama pementasan tarian Barong Brutuk ini, para penari berkeliling area Pura Puserin Jagat di Desa Trunyan dengan membawa pecut/cemeti dan menghempaskan cemeti tersebut kepada para penonton di sekitar Pura. masyarakat setempat meyakini apabila terkena hempasan cemeti tersebut mereka mendapat berkah/obat atau disebut "tamba" serta mampu memberi perlindungan diri dar gangguan magis. |
