Català: Taller-estudi dels Masriera, al número 72 del carrer Bailèn, entre Diputació i Consell de Cent. S'aixeca encara avui l'edifici en forma de templet clàssic amb sis columnes corínties, coronat per un frontó triangular als extrems del qual hi ha dos grius, animals mitològics meitat àguiles i meitat lleons. Obra de l'arquitecte Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas, fou inaugurat el 28 d'abril de 1884 i va acollir el taller d'orfebreria dels germans Francesc i Josep Masriera i Manovens, que procedien d'una acabalada família de joiers. L'edifici estava inspirat en el temple romà d'August que hi havia al Mons Taber barceloní. |
