Summary

Description
English: Four Ta-Oy boys in Salavan province of Laos enjoy a book that was provided by the photographer. The book shows the everyday life of other children in Laos, and most likely they had never seen such photographs; most schools have no books other than textbooks. The Ta-Oy are one of the 49 ethnic groups recognized by the Lao government; most live in the southern region of the country
